Life is very confusing at times, stressful here and there, but it’s only as good as you make it. A life lesson worth learning! Lately I’ve been so stressed out and depressed about things that I can’t control such as the deaths that’s occurring within our society. It’s stressful and depressing and the question I hear the most is “when will it stop?” and sad to say, but I truly believe that it will never end. Think about it, if a young black kid is brought up in the world thinking sagging is cool, gang banging is cool, money is everything, etc, it’s a very good chance that that child will be instantly categorized and treated different. Why do I say this? It’s the truth. Nobody wants to be involved with someone that can’t have a decent conversation, doesn’t care about their appearance enough to pull up their pants, and someone who doesn’t have a vision about life instead of thinking MONEY. If we want change, we have to step up and make the change ourselves. Nothing in this world is a given. Pray to God and put in the effort to make Black Lives Matter.

“Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful. There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around. You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are. You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible. You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end. Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are a part of your life.” – Bob Marley

Thanksgiving seems to be the one day that everybody highlights what they are thankful for, but me, EVERYDAY that I wake up I pray to The Lord and give thanks for waking me and giving me another opportunity to be the best that I can be. Throughout my success, I’ve gained so much in life but recently I lost the biggest part of me and that’s being there for my son 100% of the time and not in and out of his life. It hurts me to wake up and have everything but him, especially when I worked this hard to make sure that he wants for nothing. I’m extremely thankful that at least he knows who his dad is, and I’m thankful for being in a situation where I can fly into town to see him, take him on vacation with me and still be there to experience a lot of his “first” experiences. Son I just want you to know one thing; daddy may not be around much, but I love you with all my heart and I will always be there to support you. When you are old enough to voice where you want to live, you are more than welcomed to come live with Daddy. Love You!

Stedrick “Be real with yourself. If you’re in need, you should be seeking for help. Instead of running from the opportunities that you’re presented with, you should be thankful for the story you tell. Make it happen. Nobody can make decisions for you but you. God painted the picture of life, you better walk it, it’s scripted and rich!”

“Proverbs 12:28 – In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death” – Sometimes you have to step away from reality in order to connect with your inner being. After finding yourself, it’s all about the moves you make when it’s time to face reality. I grew up wishing for the things I now have, but I accomplished those things by never looking back, remaining focus, and staying level headed! Life is good and until we realize that, we will continue to possess traits such as hate, greed, and envy! Long, Live, the KING…
